    Cloud Systems Engineer

    SNI Technology is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our client's team in Plantation, FL. As an important member of the team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and securing our clients' IT infrastructure. We are seeking a passionate individual with expertise in networking, virtualization, security, and system administration.

    Responsibilities:

    • Designing, deploying, and optimizing scalable IT infrastructure solutions using cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Architecting cloud-native solutions and developing migration strategies, which are common tasks for cloud engineers.
    • Configuring and managing cloud services to ensure performance, reliability, and security, addressing key aspects of cloud system administration.
    • Developing automation scripts for system management tasks, which is crucial for efficient cloud operations.
    • Implementing cloud governance policies, cost optimization strategies, and network security measures, all essential aspects of cloud engineering and cybersecurity.
    • Conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing, highlighting a strong focus on cybersecurity.
    • Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical leadership on cloud and cybersecurity projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, which is a standard requirement for technical roles like Systems Engineer.
    • 4+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on cloud technologies and cybersecurity, demonstrating a solid background in the field.
    • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, aligning with the job's cloud-focused responsibilities.
    • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance standards, essential for ensuring secure cloud environments.
    • Experience with cybersecurity tools and programs, indicating a strong cybersecurity skill set.
