    -Position: 1st Shift Logistics Coordinator

    -Location:Brisbane, CA

    -Shift:Monday –; Friday 0830 –; 1700 PST

    -Pay:$30 to $35an hour BOE

    In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate may also possess the following skills:

    -Logistics experience (preferably with airline and truck carriers)

    -Customer service skills (verbal and written when exchanging communications on shipment readiness and documentation needs)

    -Data Entry and computer application skills.

    Logistics Coordinator Job Description:

    Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate must have the following two items:

    • Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency T3 Clearance (DCSA) or must be able to obtain T3 Clearance within first 6 months of employment.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen

    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Exel Global Logistics Team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating domestic, export, and import shipments, ensuring service commitments are met, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Coordinate between all applicable parties for domestic, export, and import shipments to ensure service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives.
    • Prepare, issue, and submit necessary shipping documents, providing clients with advice on terms of delivery, payment, insurance, and other freight services.
    • Ensure accurate completion of invoices for rendered services within the company's policy timeframe.
    • Perform tracking, tracing, and document imaging functions to monitor shipment progress and maintain accurate records.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and updating customer profiles.
    • Perform data entry using various software systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Hold a Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency T3 Clearance (DCSA) or must complete within first 6 months of employment
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • High School Degree or equivalent, preferred.
    • 1+ years previous logistics experience, preferred.
    • 1+ years government contract and ITAR experience, preferred.
    • Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures experience is preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and tracking.
