    until filled This is an hourly 12-month, 40 hours per week, M - F with occasional work outside normal business hours position. Paid holidays and leave. Hourly rate of pay is determined by experience and current salary schedule.

    Purpose Statement
    This position supports teaching and learning by maintaining equipment, installing software, and teaching computer and software skills where appropriate. Responsibilities include deploying, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting hardware and software, and responding to work order requests.
    Essential Functions
    • Maintain and repair computer equipment, components, and peripheral devices.
    • Work with school staff and students to resolve hardware and software problems.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, meeting notes, materials used, and software changes.
    • Initiate warranty repair requests and act as a liaison to outside vendors.
    • Respond to work orders.
    • Assist with and monitor district cybersecurity policies.
    • Manage the building's student electronic device program.
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software in assigned building(s).
    • Support teachers by serving as a resource for technology integration for classroom use.
    • Communicate with administration and end users regarding damage to devices and associated fees.
    • Install, deploy, upgrade, and maintain related software and hardware.
    • Maintain printers.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Education High School diploma or equivalent
    Qualifications A degree in a computer science-related field or 2-3 years of experience is preferred but not required.
    The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
    Organized and excelled at keeping notes and documentation.
    Able to work independently.
    Technical training with computer hardware is a plus.
    Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with computer software and hardware, including desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, MacBooks, and iPads.
    Proficiency in basic software, such as Microsoft Office, Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Suite.
    Must be able to maintain confidential information.
    Attend training to develop and retain a high level of expertise.
    Experience Minimum of two years previous successful experience in working with computers and technology equipment
    Terms 12-month work schedule. Salary determined by current salary schedule
