- Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and performance
- Serve as client escalation focal point
- Monitor projects and oversee staff to ensure deliverables are met
- Implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards by resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing change
- Meet financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
- Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
- Evaluate and assess the programs' strengths and weaknesses
- Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects
- Apply change, risk and resource management to ensure program success
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for clients
- Organize daily activities based on the goals of the organization and our clients
- Lead, evaluate, and support project managers and other identified staff
- Assess program performance and develop strategies to maximize ROI
- Devise and recommend sustainable goals for the organization
- Communicate team expectations by planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing team member's contributions
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Proven experience as a Program or Multi Projects Manager
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Highly proficient in using MS Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio)
- Proven ability to create, utilize, and manage various project management systems/tools (i.e., Basecamp, MS Project, etc.)
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in performance and profitability identification and management
- Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively
- Ability to assess and mitigate risk
- Cost control and budgeting skills
- Ability to identify and facilitate training sessions
- Ability to organize and multitask skills
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance, if required
- US citizenship is mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree required; master's preferred (from an accredited college or university)
- Minimum 8 years proven Project management experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' management experience
- DoD related experience preferred (may include military, civil service, or defense contracting)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification(s)

IMS is seeking an experienced Program Manager to organize and coordinate programs. The selected candidate will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture. You will also oversee the progress of operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. The selected candidate will also be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics.
The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver our organization's desired outcome to support our clients.
