- Process progress payments and AIA billing in accordance with established guidelines and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the rest of the accounting team to gather necessary information for accurate billing and to ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Generate and review invoices, ensuring all billing information is complete and accurate.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients regarding outstanding payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and address any payment-related concerns.
- Prepare and distribute monthly statements, account summaries, and aging reports.
- Reconcile accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger on a regular basis.
- Monitor and track accounts receivable aging, identify delinquent accounts, and initiate appropriate collection actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Assist with other accounts receivable duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in progress payments and AIA billing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Office applications, especially Excel.
- Preferred knowledge of Great Plains accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
