Assumes managerial responsibility for the development and implementation of the curriculum in the School of Nursing under the direction of the Dean Chairs academic affairs committee Guides and mentors faculty in academic matters Demonstrates professionalism and self-development appropriate to education research and practice Formulates school policies Manages disciplinary matters for students staff and faculty making recommendation when appropriate to the Dean Directs course coordinators with item writing analysis for each cohort during academic year Responsible for updating student handbook faculty manual and academic calendar Completes clinical evaluations for all faculty Position responsibilities Oversees development implementation evaluation of curriculum in School of Nursing Anticipates potential crises reprioritizes workload of faculty Advises dean related to hiring needs Evaluates problems develops solutions related to workforce Consistently keeps abreast on curriculum needs makes recommendations Maintains working relationships with managers Consistently advises leads others in support mission philosophy outcomes Participates fiscal day-to-day operations Designs ways reduce operating costs promotes safety educates colleagues troubleshooting technical problems training certification licensure New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse License BLS Annual salary range provided based applicant experience internal equity market data Virtua offers comprehensive benefits package including medical dental vision insurance health dependent care flexible spending accounts 403b paid time off sick leave short-term disability long-term disability colleague dependent life insurance tuition assistance employee assistance program free counseling sessions Eligibility governed applicable plan documents policies
