Kratos is seeking an IR&D Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer for the following job responsibiliites:Design, analyze, test, troubleshoot and develop advanced technology in simulated defense systems, sensors, and aviation trainingResearch and analyze information to develop designs and solve problemsConduct experiments and evaluations to test and innovate prototype/product designsUse CAD technology to create plans and designsDiscuss and solve intricate problems with teammates, sub-contractors, manufacturing departments, customers and suppliersAnalyze problems or deficiencies in mechanical processes and develop solutions to improve themBachelor of Science (or higher) Aerospace EngineeringSolidWorks/Creo, MATLAB, LabView, NI, JAVAKnowledge of ThermodynamicsKnowledge of Circuit design and applied logicKnowledge of aerodynamic and mechanical vibration testing Desired Skills and Experience Master of Science (or higher) Mechanical Engineering #LI-Onsite Competitive salary based on experience and educationKratos is valued for our ability to design and deliver leading edge, resilient solutions for aerospace communication, control, awareness and mission success across a continuum of offerings-from commercial to tailored custom solutions and integrated programs.
