    Description
    Position: FIBERGLASS FABRICATOR

    Company: Hartzell Air Movement

    Location: Piqua, OH

    Reports To: Production Supervisor

    Department: Fiberglass

    Primary Role: Skilled in various fiberglass fabrication tasks using specialized tools and materials following standard procedures.

    Duties and Key Responsibilities:
    • Proficient in operating a variety of small hand tools for grinding, drilling, sanding, cutting, and sawing.
    • Handling fiberglass materials like resin and acetone, including techniques such as rolling, chopping, and spraying.
    • Expertise in smoothing surfaces, removing air bubbles, and bonding fiberglass components.
    • Precisely trimming excess fiberglass and following detailed instructions thoroughly.
    • Working with fiberglass molds, applying resins, and performing repairs on parts.
    • Supporting company culture and Lean initiatives, emphasizing safety practices.
    • Assisting in different departments and tasks as needed.
    Requirements

    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Prior experience in fiberglass fabrication and using various hand tools.
    • Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
    • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving tools.
    • Proficiency in blueprint reading and basic math skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle physical tasks.
    • Reliability, willingness to work overtime, and good work history.
    Starting Salary: $20.50-$22.50 per hour
