    Description
    Hospital Medicine Admitting Physician - Saginaw, MI About the Job: - Hospital Medicine Admitting Physician- Two (2) shifts available: 5pm-5am or 8pm-8am- Flexible scheduling with a requirement of fifteen (15) twelve (12) hour shifts per month Responsibilities: - Huge need for expanded GYN/ONC services in the area- Assess patients admitted to the hospital overnight through the emergency department- Order and interpret diagnostic tests- Manage medications- Provide patient education- Work closely with the day team to ensure a smooth transition of care- Attend rounds and conferences- Complete all required documentation- Participate in quality improvement initiatives- Maintain licensure and board certification Qualifications: - MD or DO degree- Board certification in Internal Medicine- Strong clinical skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to work nights and weekends Benefits: - Sign on bonus and relocation reimbursement- EPIC Based EMR- Night Shift Premium- CME and membership dues- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunity to work in a progressive and supportive environment- Chance to make a difference in the lives of patients About Health
