    Job Overview:


    The Sr Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting is a key member of a team responsible for quarterly and annual financial reporting and controls around financial reporting, ensuring the Company's compliance with SEC reporting requirements and assisting with technical accounting research, analysis and documentation.

    This includes the development of processes, policies and controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of external financial reporting.
    Duties and Responsibilities
    Exhibit Myers' values of Integrity, Optimism, Customer Focus and a Can-do Spirit.

    Prepare portions of the quarterly and annual financial statements for inclusion in the SEC Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 11-K and 8-K, as well as preparing financial information for earnings releases, earnings call presentations and other internal uses to support timely filings and accurate disclosures.

    Gather data and monitor for financial transactions and other financial reporting considerations across departments and business units using both formal and informal methods.


    Lead or assist with technical accounting research, analyses and controls assessments, as needed, and write position papers to determine proper accounting treatment where applicable.

    Examples may include new or unusual transactions or new accounting principles.

    Lead, assist, implement or monitor internal controls over financial reporting and control remediation, as needed, across the Company.

    Perform or review technical accounting on a routine basis. Examples may include preparation of statement of cash flows or stock compensation expense or impairment analysis of assets.

    Assist with corporate closing process to meet monthly close and consolidation timelines and reporting requirements, including execution and documentation of certain internal controls over financial reporting.

    Assist other corporate departments or business units, as needed


    Examples may include:
    Assist in gathering of information for annual renewal of insurance.

    Assist in development and gathering of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) metrics and information.

    Ad hoc accounting, financial or operational analysis or research.
    Other duties as assigned
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Must be up-to-date on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting regulations and effective documentation of internal control performance.

    Background in financial reporting is required, including working with financial statements as a public accountant or preparation of SEC documents with a public company.

    Ability to lead by influence a wide variety of partners. Collaboration and interpersonal skills are required to perform the functions as described. The ability to build credibility, trust, respect, and cooperation among team members is essential.
    Requires direct interaction with executive management and officers of the company as well as external legal and accounting/auditing personnel.
    No direct supervisory responsibilities, but does influence accounting and reporting decisions across the enterprise
    Education and Experience
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
    3-5 years of experience in public accounting or SEC reporting
    Working Conditions
    Typical office environment
    Occasional, but limited, travel may be required

    While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

    The employee regularly is required to walk,climbor balance, and talk and hear.
    The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
