- Manage the product design lifecycle from conception to full scale production including component design.
- Document results of testing in engineering test reports and write assembly procedures for the manufacturing team.
- Lead FMEA events to gain a detailed understanding of potential failure models and take appropriate action to prevent occurrences. Required:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of product design experience
- Detailed knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of the following processes: sand casting, permanent mold casting, machining, and welding.
- Experience with SolidWorks, 3D, CAD, and Finite Element Analysis
- Demonstrated experience with bringing new products to market and Redesign existing products
