    PSG Technologist works under the direction of the Medical Director.

    Responsible for obtaining standard and complex recording as well as special procedure polysomnographic recording and for monitoring additional physiological phenomena by means of appropriate techniques.

    This technologist must be willing to accept night split, weekend and day shifts.

    Will be required to proctor and teach trainees and technicians in all aspects of the skills required to progress their skill to the level of the technologist.


    Position requirements:

    • Successful completion of Site Personnel General Orientation.
    • Successful completion of all required orientation programs.
    • High school diploma/GED.
    • Registered by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or the American Board of Sleep Medicine.
    • Must hold and maintain active NJ Polysomnography Technologist license.
    • Capability to interact with severely ill or difficult patients.
    • Maturity and ability to establish a good rapport with the patients, public, and staff.
    • Ability and desire to acquire and implement new skills.
    • Maintains required BLS for the Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
    • Ability to proctor and teach trainees and technicians
