The company is headquartered in Novi, Michigan USA and has a manufacturing center in Worcester, United Kingdom.

Technical project manager experience and aptitude are required (not necessarily a technical degree), and of equal importance are talent, ambition, and high character.

    The job responsibilities are as follows:
    • The Project Manager reports administratively and functionally to the Manager of Project Management. The position is responsible for the cost, timing and deliverables of assigned projects. The role will interact frequently with Engineering and Operation departments regarding the coordination of resources allocated to projects.
    • The Project Manager must be capable of managing projects utilizing assigned internal resources or outside subcontracted resources. The position will be the primary contact with our customers for contracted projects.
    • The position is both responsible and accountable for cost, schedule, and scope for assigned projects both internal and external.
    • The position is expected to focus on the following areas of excellence.
      • Comprehensive understanding of the project scope with involvement and feedback during the quoting process to ensure clarity and well-established boundaries.
      • Alignment with the Engineering Coordinator and Operations Manager for resource scheduling.
      • Proactive and successful communications by bringing together stakeholders for effective and profitable project deliveries.
    Day-to-Day Tasks and/or Responsibilities
    • This position will coordinate assigned resources internally and externally to complete development projects.
    • This position will communicate the project status through the use of various means including but not limited to project plans, action item lists, change orders, financial cost reports, etc.
    • Schedule, manage, and chair frequent reviews for problem-solving as well as general status- both internally and with customer involvement
    • This position will support sales during the quoting process including scope review and communications with customers to support technical clarity, schedule development, cost, and effective execution.

    • Create and execute a robust and efficient project methodology.
    • Suggest and implement efficient tools for the advancement of our project management goals.

    • Projects will meet cost, schedule, and performance criteria.
    • Project management efficiency improvement.
    • Changes and impacts will be handled with flexibility and calm.
    • Communications will ensure the organization is clear in regard to project goals, requirements, and status.

    Qualifications
    • Proven experience in technical project management.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively, regardless of a technical degree.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
    • Technical project manager experience and aptitude.
    • Proven ability to handle projects from initiation to completion, ensuring cost, schedule, and scope are met.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to articulate project goals, requirements, and status clearly to both internal teams and external customers.
