    As a Safety Tech, you'll be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols while providing a safe and secure environment for our employees and customers. If you're an analytical thinker who is willing to take initiative and is driven to create a safe and secure environment, this could be the perfect role for you

    Job Responsibilities

    • Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, and equipment, to ensure safety standards
    • Conduct job site audits and report results
    • May conduct tailgate safety meetings
    • Confined space entry permit audits
    • Work with Project Managers and Safety Manager to complete Job Safety Analysis.
    • Represent Safety at customer meetings when required.
    • Educate employers and workers about workplace safety
    • Demonstrate the correct use of safety equipment
    • Work with Safety Manager to investigate incidents and accidents
    • Monitor and inspect safety equipment to ensure proper functioning
    • Monitor safety compliance with company and customer policies
    • Assist with the investigation of workplace hazards and corrective actions

    Job Requirements

    • Proficiency in MS office suite
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Associate's degree in safety, engineering, or related field preferred
    • 2+ years experience in a safety-related role preferred
    • OSHA 30 Hour in lieu of years of experience
    • First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred
    • Must be able to work well with other job site peers and supervisors
    • Must be able to climb, stairs, ladders and scaffolding
    • Must be able and willing to submit to company and customer required drug and alcohol testing
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and call outs and possible holidays
