- Lift and move heavy equipment (at least fifty pounds at each occurrence) and other audio visual equipment over an eight hour work shift.

- Review conference requests and clarify requests while creating a daily task list (Setup Sheet) for the setup crew.
- Be a point of contact for our conference planners and internal clients for questions about physical and AV setup for events.
- Support the department manager with the maintenance of technical audio/visual equipment, tables, chairs, and additional department inventory.
- Interact with conference planners and internal clients to plan/guide them to a successful meeting/event.
- Make minor repairs/updates to current AV systems, coordinate AV installations with outside contractors.
- Coordinate technical support/setup with events/groups/UGA units coming to the Georgia Center.
- Support department manager by helping to ensure that department is fully staffed, trained and operational during all specified hours of operation.
- Conduct training sessions for all department personnel.
- Provide oversight to all meeting spaces prior to scheduled event.
- Ensure spaces are prepared accurately, operate as intended, and reflect the designed layout.
- Collaborate with department leadership to prepare and distribute employee schedules.
- Represent the department in meetings and special projects as needed.
