Job summary
This position is for UF Health Flagler Hospital Reports to the Director of Facilities Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations for the Facilities Department to include Plant Services and Asbestos Program Management Ensures adherence to all Federal State and Local regulatory rules pertaining to the physical plant and facilities functions Provides coordination for renovation and construction projects as assigned by the Facilities Director.Responsibilities
- Assures compliance with all City State and Federal regulations and standards pertaining to daily operations of Facilities.
- Manages all aspects of routine maintenance at a hospital including management of the physical plant electrical distribution systems medical gas delivery systems emergency generators physical plant troubleshooting project management manages engineering staff others required day operations manages Asbestos Program operations maintenance renovations Respiratory Fit Training Operation Maintenance Procedure Training maintains In-House Inspection program documentation record keeping relates Asbestos tracks Job Request forms facilitates work procedures staff contractors relates Asbestos administration supplies materials inventory related asbestos assists recruitment development training education retention support organizations goals facilities long range plan participates development implementation departments operating budget performs duties assigned management within job scope.
