Join our diverse team at UNC Health as a Radiation Therapist in the Johnston Medical Mall facility. Be part of an organization dedicated to improving the health of the communities we serve.

Summary:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients with assessment, intervention, calculations, documentation, and patient education under supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy following physician's instructions and patient's treatment plan.
- Assist in preparing treatment plans with physicians and clinical physicists.
- Maintain patient and billing records according to department policies.
- Perform a variety of radiation therapy treatments using established practices.
- Prepare equipment and rooms for patients ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Provide clinical instruction for student radiation therapists.

Other Information

Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a Council of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) approved Radiation Therapy Technologist program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Radiation Therapy certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Board Eligible.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary.
