    Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – North Carolina

    Start Date: March 9, 2026
    Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
    Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
    Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week; 4 weekend shifts required within a 6-week timeframe; on-call as needed based on workload

    Highlights:

    • Work in a large respiratory care department practicing at the top of their license across Med/Surg, ICU step-down units, and possibly the Emergency Department
    • Diverse case mix including adolescents to geriatrics, with a significant COPD population and critical care patient management including proning
    • EPIC charting system required; experience with Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton T1, Servo Air, and ABL90 ABG machines
    • 13-week contract with patient volume of 35-45 patients per day
    • Float opportunities within the facility based on skillset and census; no external facility floating required
    • Professional development in advanced respiratory care including airway management, vent management, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow therapy, and bronchoscopy support

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
    • Active North Carolina or Compact State license and RRT credentials (CRT not accepted)
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, RRT
    • Preferred certification: NRP
    • EPIC charting experience required
    • Work setting experience in ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Step-down environments
    • Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, vest therapy, meta-neb, PAP therapy, and heated high-flow
    • First-time travelers accepted
