    Position Requirements

    Capacity Requirements:

    Mental Capacity:
    Skills, learned abilities, training, experience, and knowledge.


    • Manage a wait list.
    • Effectively use paging system to notify guests when tables become available.
    • Provide guests with estimated waiting time by using Flo's wait time metrics.
    • Seat guests based on their preferences while still balancing the number of guests in a server's sections.
    • Upon seating, hang out guests a menu and/or Weekend features and inform them of their server's name.
    • Uses proper Flo's telephone etiquette to answer and direct calls.
    • Demonstrate proper Flo's order taking techniques, including asking for all required guest information.
    • Has complete knowledge on the menu and all takeout specials.
    • Handle point of sale system quickly & efficiently from ringing in orders to accepting payments.
    • Uphold strict cash handling procedures and be accountable for all transactions daily.
    • Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and laws, including health and safety standards.
    • No previous restaurant experience required.
    • Reading Comprehension- understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents

    Physical Capacity:
    Stamina, physical demands, energy, and tenacity.


    • Bus tables quickly and efficiently whenever needed and inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.
    • Opens and/or closes the takeout area properly by following all checklists provided.
    • Properly executes all prep & portion lists for the day.
    • Able to package & organize all takeout orders correctly according to Flo's guidelines.
    • Package all takeout orders correctly ensuring that hot food is packed with hot food and cold food is packed with cold food. While also checking order accuracy.
    • Maintain personal health and sanitation standards.
    • Maintain a clean uniform and understands that he/she is always on stage.
    • Must have exceptional personal hygiene habits
    • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

    • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
    • Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
    • Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests
    • Answer the phones promptly with a clear and friendly greeting and answer any questions in a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable manner
    • Responsible for taking guests order in person or by phone in a friendly & courteous manner.
    • Relay phone messages to all management team members as needed.
    • Create a positive final impression by thanking guests as they leave and invite them to return.
    • Able to respond to guest complaints by getting the appropriate management to handle the situation.
    • Reading Comprehension- understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
    • Coordination- adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
