Business Valuation and Advisory Services Senior Analyst

This is a strategic valuation and advisory services firm is a small but growing team ofemployees located in Atlanta, GA and Dayton, OH.

This entrepreneurial, financial consulting practice specializes in valuation and enterprise pricing and using financial analytics to perfect long-term management decision making.

We focus on litigation support, franchising, transactional advisory, technology, biomedical and automotive.

Responsibilities
Build financial models by analyzing client financial statements.
Perform due diligence on companies and take inventory of client files.
Apply multiple valuation techniques, including income, market and asset approaches.
Detailed and comprehensive report writing.
Conduct research on client companies, their industries and capital market information.
Research and apply discounts and premiums, as appropriate.
Gather information and take notes from management meetings.
Work effectively with team members to provide support and consistent communication regarding project status.
This is a hybrid work situation; you will be required to be in the office 2-3 days/week.

Requirements
1-3 years relevant experience in finance, capital markets or valuation

Business Valuation credentials as a CVA, ASA, or ABV are preferred but if youre the right candidate and you dont yet have them, we want to help you achieve one or more of them.

Experience with valuation models is highly valued
An effective manager of time, information, and deadlines
Experience using R&D techniques
Exposure to finance-specific software such as TagniFi, CrunchBase and BVR
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF
Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic and the ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
Comfortable asking questions
Interest and ability to master new tasks
