    Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Centers Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Miami Health System and Miller School of Medicine, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Division Chief to join their growing team of physicians in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami is the first and only university-based cancer center in South Florida and carries the great distinction of also being the only NCI designated cancer center in the region. Additionally, Sylvester has been identified by the State of Florida as a Cancer Center of Excellence.

    Job Functions:

    • Active participation in the clinical practice of Gynecologic Oncology, including but not limited to, the University of Miami clinical practice sites and hospitals, Jackson Health System sites, the scope of which will be determined by the Department Chair
    • Development of and participation in clinical research in Gynecologic Oncology
    • Teaching of residents, medical and nursing students
    • Serve as Division Chief (Associate or Professor Rank)
    • Secondary duties will include participation in appropriate departmental committees and administrative matters

    Qualifications:

    • M.D. or D.O. degree from a recognized accredited University (or foreign equivalent)
    • Board eligibility or board certification
    • Clinician or clinician scientist
    • Research experience
