Job summary
This is an entry-level mechanic trainee position in the Lift Station Division. The candidate will assist a journey-level Lift Station Mechanic with day-to-day work assignments and performance monitoring.The incumbent performs semi-skilled and skilled work of average and standard difficulty in the installation, maintenance and repair of lift station mechanical equipment and property.
Mechanic Trainees may perform basic troubleshooting of pumps treatment/process equipment at a lift station to identify and correct the problem,
- Lift stations
- Sewage grit removal equipment
- Sewage grinding equipment
