    Description

    We're Hiring: Direct Care Worker at CCARC

    Scheduled Hours: This position is 3rd shift: Thurs - Sat 10:00pm-9:00am

    33 hours/Full-Time

    CCARC Minimum Requirements: Valid Driver's License and High School Diploma or GED

    Current Rate of Pay: $18.46 per hour

    Primary Purpose:

    To provide direct care in a residential setting to participants with special needs, ensuring their highest quality of life in terms of physical, emotional, and mental health adhering to CCARC policies and procedures.

    Essential Functions:

    • Effective verbal and written communications with specific teams, family members, guardians, DDS, and healthcare providers
    • Provide physical and emotional care to participants, including personal hygiene, grooming, treatments, and medication administration
    • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately
    • Manage household petty cash, food, and individual's money according to CCARC policies
    • Collaborate to resolve conflicts and challenges
    • Adherence to universal precautions, OSHA standards, and infection control policies
    • Maintain good daily attendance
    • Participate in mandatory in-services and staff meetings

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • High School Diploma/GED
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Complete Agency's Employee Training
    • Willingness to be trained in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration
    • Experience with Microsoft products, email, and Therap preferred
    • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
