    Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a key player in the midstream energy services sector, offering a range of services to clients in North America. The Mechanical Technician Trainee role provides an opportunity for individuals to train and gain experience in the pipeline industry, with responsibilities that include:

    • Work alongside a mentor for a training period of 9-24 months to prepare for a Mechanical Technician position.
    • Engage in various training courses, both computer-based and instructor-led.
    • Receive on-the-job training covering equipment troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, installation, repair, and operation within the gas compression and pipeline industry.
    • Maintain equipment efficiently while managing costs effectively.
    • Complete all assigned training programs and participate in safety meetings.
    • Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Optimize work processes to minimize overtime.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance, adhere to safety protocols, and use required personal protective equipment.

    Qualifications for the role include:

    • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
    • Vocational-technical certification or an Associate's degree in Electronics or related field.
    • 6 months to 1 year of mechanic experience in a related field preferred.
    • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
    • Ability to read, understand, and interpret various documents and regulations.
    • Basic mathematical skills and computer proficiency.
    • Effective communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
    • Conscientiousness, dependability, and commitment to the role and team.
    • Capacity to work in various environmental conditions and operate necessary equipment.
    • Physical abilities to handle manual tasks and lift weights up to specified limits.
    • Willingness to work overtime and respond to call-outs when required.
