Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring each plastic injection molding machine has the primary raw and WIP (work-in progress) materials required to run according to the production schedule.++
Major Responsibilities
- Uses production schedules to identify, verify, and transport requested raw materials, equipment, or processing materials to designated locations.
- Maintain control of material & colorant levels to ensure all equipment is ready & available to run & perform material & colorant change overs as dictated by the production schedule.
- Maintain forklift checkout sheets and report equipment issues to supervisor.
