- Establish and maintain good client relationships through email, telephone, virtual, and/or in-person meetings
- Coordinate and schedule meeting with client, courts, and internal staff
- Organize and maintain case files in paper and/or electronic filing systems
- Monitor case due dates and stay abreast of applicable deadlines
- Conduct legal research, as needed
- Prepare & e-file pleadings and orders for Court
- Work with Accounting department to coordinate billing, as needed
- Prepare legal memorandums
- Schedule court hearings, maintain court deadlines, and prepare cases for hearing
- Maintain time entries for all case activities in firm selected case management software.
- Prepare and file Accountings
- Drafting of legal documents including estate planning, petitions, motions and notices.
- Stay abreast of changes in applicable laws and court processes and procedures
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management abilities
- Advanced working knowledge of office computers, equipment, and software programs
- Strong word processing skills; knowledge of databases
- Strong mathematical skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of team
- Possesses a professional attitude in demeanor and presentation
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Florida Registered Paralegal
- BA or BS in Paralegal Studies
- Working knowledge of MyCase and Form Builder.
- Working knowledge of Florida Probate Estate Administration, Trust Administration, Trust Funding, Medicaid, VA, and Estate Planning
- Working knowledge of Florida Elder Law firm processes, procedures, confidentiality, and terminology
