Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rounds Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and assist employees and visitors with a customer-service mindset. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout technology and telecommunications office areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site-specific processes for check-in, badging, deliveries, and/or directing individuals to appropriate locations.

Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, escalating issues through the chain of command per site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
