RN Neuro Telemetry PRN Nights Position Summary
Providing direct nursing care in alignment with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
Assessment - An RN utilizes a systematic approach to gather and analyze patient data, considering various factors beyond just physiological aspects.
Problem Identification - Nurse's clinical judgment about the patient's response to health conditions or needs.
Planning and Outcomes – Collaborating with patients and families to establish measurable and achievable goals based on assessment and problem identification.
Implementation – Continuity of care for the patient through implementing nursing care as per the care plan.
Evaluation – Continuous evaluation of patient's status and care effectiveness, with modifications to the care plan as necessary.
Care Coordination – Actions to manage and optimize patient care from admission to discharge.
THE RN NEURO TELEMETRY PRN NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
Required: Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license with the ability to obtain Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
EDUCATION
Required: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: Two (2) years of acute care clinical experience. Compliance with RN PRN Commitment Agreement for Tier I: Hospital Based (Unit or Central Resource Team)
