    Job Title: Technical Program Manager/Product Quality Manager

    Location: Cupertino, CA

    Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)

    Key Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
    • Excellent project management skills, demonstrated ability to effectively manage OEM factories
    • Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix organization
    • Experience in managing a product from early development builds through steady state production
    • Experience in developing factory infrastructure requirements, process flows, end-to-end factory layout, setting equipment requirements
    • Direct experience in developing processes, tools and equipment for final assembly
    • Experience in performing DFM/DFT, Tolerance Analysis, DOE, Statistical Analysis, Statistical Process Control
    • Functional understanding of surface mount technology and data center hardware is a plus
    • JMP, Minitab & Six Sigma experience is a plus

    Description of Responsibilities

    • Technical lead for manufacturing operations at multiple vendors and production sites
    • Driving contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production builds
    • Production process development, documentation, optimization and validation
    • Leads development of production equipment and fixturing in conjunction with CMs and equipment vendors
    • Leads DFM analysis and works in conjunction with HW engineering in optimizing the design
    • Manages development builds and production ramp
    • Works all phases of a product from concept to repeat manufacturing to end of life
    • Generates Product Quality Plan (PQP) across supply chain (component suppliers to FATP)
    • Manages quality across the supply chain and leads root cause analysis and corrective actions
    • Works with customer teams on tracking in-the-field failures/RMAs and drives corrective actions
    • Manages weekly tech ops and quality updates
    • Requires travel to factories in Asia and North America (~25% of the time)
