    • Quality ControlDescriptionSummary/ObjectivesThe Quality Supervisor ensures compliance and supports the administration of the company's quality food safety systems.
    Maintains the standards set forth by the GFSI auditing scheme and FSMA. This position is responsible to help oversee QA employees and report areas of concerns to the Quality Manager.

    As with all site personnel, the Quality Supervisor promotes a culture of Regulatory Compliance and Continuous Improvement within the Quality Department and across the company.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEstablishes and promotes a work environment that supports compliance to the Food Safety Plan and documented quality processes and proceduresProvides direction, coaching, and mentoring to team personnel to achieve department goals.

    Supervises the quality personnel who perform the day-to-day implementation of the Food Safety PlanBack up to Quality Technicians for vacations, call ins, etc.

    Fosters and sustains a culture of continuous improvement, including leading a team of employees in the identification and implementation of changes to systems and processes that result in operation efficiencies and improved customer outcomesLeads and champions the work and communication between functional departments (production, maintenance, sanitation, receiving etc.) to ensure the resolution of issues Maintains the hold and release program Submitting and releasing lab resultsReviewing inbound product
    • Incoming inspection analysisMaintain retain/return programGlass and brittle plastic inspectionsIn House InspectionsAssist with calibration programAssist in, communicating, and training of Quality systems programs and standard operating procedures.

    Serve as a member on the company's Food Safety Team and/or HACCP TeamRoasting Room Checks Ensure accuracy of roasting production by doing analytical and sensory testing on the productOther Duties as assigned by Quality ManagerCompetenciesMust be able to work quickly and accuratelyMust apply food safety and employee safety guidelines in all performance measuresMust be able to accurately complete paperworkQualificationsSupervisory ResponsibilityYesWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to allergens, moving mechanical parts and vibration as well as equipment.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Hours would be 4pm-2am. Full time hour schedule is subject to change with or without notice. Mandatory or voluntary overtime may be required to meet business needs.
