    Job title: Container Maintenance and Repair Technician

    Job Overview

    This role requires a highly skilled individual to maintain and repair containers, ensuring they are in excellent condition for use. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a yard environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate records of container inventory and perform routine checks to ensure quality standards are met.
    • Carry out light welding and electrical tasks, including rewiring and repairing switches and outlets.
    • Use power tools and equipment to prepare containers for repair and maintenance.
    • Manage the availability of building materials and ensure adequate stock levels for repairs.
    • Inspect and repair containers to prevent damage and extend their lifespan.

    The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a construction yard work environment, with a strong background in carpentry and basic electrical skills. Forklift certification is also highly desirable.
