    Job Description:


    Drives financial analysis, local and global reporting, forecasting, and strategic solutions in order to maximize the financial position of IS, and Technology and Transformation (T&T) units.

    Monitors and manages expenses as well as other financial measures of IS and T&T.

    This role is a key member of the team focused on the financial operation, analysis, and transformation of IT financial analysis and reporting functions.


    Essential Job Functions:


    Reporting & analysis for IS and T&T expense management and financial results: Global IS and T&T financial reporting to SE.

    Analyzes and interprets complex performance data and compiles local and global reports and recommendations to IS, T&T, and COO management for meeting financial targets.

    Lead benchmarking initiatives for IS and T&T and SE financial reporting and requests. Consults with IS and T&T business units on financial matters including FTE management, cost metrics, and benchmarking.

    Consolidate and analyze monthly performance metrics for more complex areas of IS and T&T activities and prepare monthly trend reports for leadership review.

    Presents and communicates results of financial modeling & analysis within IS and T&T. Meets regularly with COO Management and Corporate Finance for budget, and spend analysis, and proposes opportunities for financial changes. Provides variance and root cause analysis to support business decisions. Drives expenses under management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for IS and T&T. Assist in processing invoices in line with IS and T&T reporting requirements. (40%)

    IS and T&T Annual Financial Planning and Budget:
    Assists in driving the annual financial plan and budgeting process for IS and T&T.

    Prepares, consolidates, and distributes IS and T&T department budgets and related reports for more complex cost centers in partnership with Finance ensuring consistent results and messaging.

    Provides guidance to leadership on areas to scrutinize during budget preparation. (30%)

    Projects:
    Assesses complex IS and T&T business cases and cost-benefit analysis including benefit tracking. Lead efforts to improve and manage tools used for financial management and reporting. Advises on various IS and T&T projects and initiatives. Develops new financial tracking criteria for new business initiatives. (20%)

    Leadership:

    Review and improve team processes and collaborate with other divisions to ensure processes intersecting IS and T&T financials are effective.

    Guide and mentor less experienced teammates.

    Build and sustain strong, positive relationships across the COO and Finance, as well as across the company, at all levels of the organization and influence business partner's goals, priorities, and strategies solutions/outcomes.

    Minimum Requirements:6+ years of Information Technology Finance and/or Business Finance experience.
    Four-year degree or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    8-10 years of experience preferred Experience in using complex MS Excel models and financial tools (SAP, Essbase, Apptio). Experience with IS and T&T in a Financial Services or Insurance Organization.
