Job description
Position Summary: Supports the provision of patient care through the coordination of unit clerical activities, intra and inter departmental communication, record keeping and order transcription.
Experience
Required: None
Preferred: Previous experience as unit coordinator or previous clerical/secretarial experience
Education
Required: High School Degree or equivalency ;
Preferred: Unit coordinator course and/or secretarial and computer training
License and Credentials
Required: None
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organization and time management skills, computer skills, basic knowledge of medical terminology; ability to use standard office equipment including fax machine, multi-line phones, and copiers; ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently

Child: Infant (0-1); Toddler (1-3); Preschool (3-6); School Age (6-12); Adolescent ;
Adult: Early Adult ; Middle Adult ; Late Adult ; Late, Late Adult (Over 80)

Bi-Weekly Hours: Per Diem / Day Shift
The minimum starting rate for this position is $17.14
When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
