Job description

Infosys is seeking a

Lead Java AWS Developer.
In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in

Java J2EE .

You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including; elicitation, application architecture, definition and design.

You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts.

You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of

Irvine, CA

or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Java/J2EE, Python MicroservicesPreferred Qualifications

At least 4 to 8 years of experience in Production support and Java/J2EE, Python Microservices development.
Working experience in Production/Maintenance projects.
Experience in integrations and the ability to customize features to meet business requests.

Experience in web standards relating to APIsKnowledge/experience working on AWS is added advantageWillingness to learn React JS and support targeted modernized application which is getting built on AWS Python/ React JSExperience in configuring existing system and providing user support.

Experience in collaborating with different teams to produce desired results.
Experience in writing clean and scalable code.
Experience in unit testing.
Experience in leading and running production releases and deployments.
Experience in serving as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Experience in Agile framework and SCRUM.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in dynatrace / datadog for application monitoring.
