    POSITION TITLE: Career Coach

    LOCATION: New Albany, IN

    STATUS: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

    PROGRAM: VOA Community

    REPORTS TO: Supported Employment Coordinator

    JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    As a Career Coach, you will be responsible for supporting individuals in finding and maintaining employment within the community.

    WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:
    - Proficiency in word processing and verbal communication
    - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    - CPR and first aid certification (or ability to obtain)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Coordinate career planning and assessment processes
    • Develop employment strategies and plans
    • Provide motivation, support, and counseling to job seekers
    • Identify labor and employer needs
    • Facilitate integration into work and community culture
    • Offer ongoing support services
    • Collect and utilize performance feedback
    • Maintain accurate records and reports
    • Collaborate with various parties involved
