    Dignity Health Medical Group - Bakersfield ( ) is seeking an
    Obstetrics/Gynecology
    Physician to join our
    physician led, patient centered practice in Bakersfield, CA.

    We are affiliated with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital ( ) and Mercy Hospitals ( ) and aligned with one of the largest health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California


    Practice Highlights:

    • Join experienced Obstetrics/Gynecologist in the practice and team to share call
    • Mentorship available
    • No In-House call required
    • Emphasizes high quality of care over quantity
    • Robotic experience ideal

    Available Resources:

    • Gynecologic Oncology and Perinatology available
    • RN Triage during after hours and weekends
    • Marketing representative to help build patient panel with various media resources and connecting you with the community

    Compensation/Benefits Include:

    • Compensation Range:
    $360,000 - $421,000 / Year


    • Excellent earning potential including a salary guarantee period and productivity bonus

    Responsibilities

    Patient Care:

    • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
    • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

    Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Provide clear and concise medical information.
    • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

    Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
    • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

    Diagnostic Procedures:

    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
    • Perform procedures as needed
    • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

    Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

    Quality Improvement:

    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
    • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

    Compliance:

    • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
    • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

    Continuous Learning:

    • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
    • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
    • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

    Qualifications

    • A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
    • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
    • Completion of state mandated educational courses

    Pay Range
    $ $202.40 /hour
