    General Job Description

    The Business Analyst responsibilities will be split between managing the customer accounts and delivering business analytics to the AR Team.

    Continuing to develop knowledge and understanding of business analysis and project processes. Perform data retrieving and business analytics duties related to credit and collection activities.
    Duties & Responsibilities

    Work with various internal departments (PDC, National Accts, Acquisitions) to assist in all AR related tasks to the project being brought on board.

    Map process activities to identify shortfalls and identify options to rectify operational inefficiencies
    Manage accounts receivable and all related finance functions: AR balance, Discrepancy Issues, Monthly/ Quarterly/Yearly reports and streamlined AR processes.
    Ability to pull/gather customer data from both internal/external sources in order to format the workload required.
    Utilize MS SQL, IBM Cognos, Tableau and Other Visualization toolsets for data analysis.

    Write Queries to retrieve requested data sets from SQL server database (I Series) and Convert data sets into visual insights by predicting future outcomes.

    Create templates for AR Staff so that projects are standardized and all necessary steps are followed/completed.
    Create, modify and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures and jobs.

    EDUCATION & TRAINING
    A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems. Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience.

    Knowledge & Experience
    Advanced/Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Access, SQL, Cognos and other data gathering programs.
    Use of Terminal Server for shared projects, along with Smart Sheet.
    Ability to prioritize job requests from the field.
    Communication with internal departments in giving them status updates.
    Strong attention to detail.
    Ability to determine the logical steps on each project and implementation.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The performance of this position may require exposure to the warehouse areas where certain areas may require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes and safety glasses.

    The primary environment is characterized by ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment found in a typical office environment.
