    Description

    Multi-state design firm is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Bridge/Structural to join their team in Omaha, Nebraska.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and hydraulic engineers on various projects
    • Lead small to medium-sized bridge projects as a project manager/technical engineer
    • Prepare planning and design documents
    • Conduct design calculations
    • Perform quality control reviews
    • Manage project scope, budget, and schedule to meet deadlines
    • Mentor and train staff
    • Support business development initiatives
    • Travel to job sites when necessary

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering
    • Master's degree is a bonus
    • 6+ years of relevant experience
    • PE License
    • Proficiency in AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
    • Experience in designing prestressed concrete and steel girder bridges
    • Knowledge of bridge analysis and design software (LARSA, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, Lpile, SPColumn, MDX)
    • Experience with NDOT or similar State DOT Bridge Projects

    Salary is based on experience level.

    Successful candidates must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
