    Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

    We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at UW Health, an academic medical center and Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Program.

    You will have the opportunity to provide on-going patient care and management, collaborating with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff. This role requires independence in performing routine clinical procedures as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice.

    We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Advisory Council ensures that your voices are heard, promoting, supporting, advocating, and advising on APP practice throughout the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
    • Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice
    • Develop and implement individualized patient plans
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

    Requirements:

    • Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program, active RN and APRN certifications, and prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice
    • Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program, active PA license, and prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice
