    About Us:

    We are looking for an experienced Clinical Director for a Behavioral Health group, located in the Delray Beach area. Our facility strives to provide the highest quality of care, using evidence-based treatment, medical staff, and licensed therapists. Our goal is to help those that are struggling find the tools to regain control and live healthy, happy lives.

    POSITION PURPOSE:

    The Clinical Director is responsible for providing 24-hour management of all clinical functions of the facility. Oversees the entire admission process and/or clinical intake process. Also responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, has knowledge of the organization, provides marketing support for the facility, and directs all activities within the facility in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations

    SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

    • Direct management and supervision of Primary Therapists, Clinical Supervisors, Case Managers, Group Facilitators and BHTs
    • Execute clinical philosophy in programming through education, training, and clinical supervision
    • Ensure that staff performance and client experience is consistent with highest standard of care
    • Perform direct care at all levels of care
    • Facilitate supervision meetings with clinical team
    • Conduct periodic group trainings with each respective department on specific areas of job performance and conduct
    • Assess therapists and case managers individual performance and address shortcoming and areas needing improvement
    • Coordinate with Clinical Training & Compliance Manager to address documentation deficiencies and non-performance with therapists & group facilitators
    • Observe groups by all facilitators
    • Develop training process for new personnel
    • Build a cohesive treatment team
    • Identify shortfalls in clients completing full continuum and implement corrective action
    • Interface with leadership/ownership on organizations vision and objectives
    • Facilitate involuntary commitments (Marchman Acts & Baker Acts)
    • Develop internship programs at each level of care
    • Provides Supervision to Clinical Staff
    • Creates Group Schedule
    • Assists with developing Program Design with Executive Director and CAO
    • Assists with interviewing for clinical positions and other executive team members
    • Manages budgets and stays within budgeting allocations and develops cost-effective methods to provide service
    • Maintains an effective and efficient daily staffing pattern within budgetary constraints
    • Ensure compliance with state licensing standards and Joint Commission
    • Complete Quality Audits & Client Surveys follow up
    • Attend quarterly meetings for the following committees: Clinical Peer Review Committee
    • Assist and comply with Joint Commission and DCF prep, and audits
    • Review admission assessments and appropriateness for treatment
    • Create therapist Assignments
    • Identified as the Audit Staff for Clinical and will prepare for and sit through on-site audits
    • Ensures clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements
    • Provides for staff development (i.e. supervision, training, educational, etc.)
    • Attends clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.
    • Meets with clinical staff weekly.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to
    • communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and
    • accurately.
    • Displays ability to direct and supervise Program activities.
    • Oversees the admission and/or patient intake process.
    • Adheres to the facilitys philosophy.
    • Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure and delegates appropriate authority for completion of
    • assigned responsibilities.
    • Functions as leader of Clinical Staff Meetings.
    • Implements plans for performance improvement.
    • Evaluates quality of program on an ongoing basis.
    • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
    • Follows Infection Control guidelines at all times.
    • Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
    • Performs other tasks, as assigned.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this position, you'll need:

    • Masters degree in applicable field
    • FL Clinical License LCSW LMSW LMHC PhD
    • Qualified Supervisor, not required but encouraged
    • Clinical experience in substance abuse treatment required
    • 2 years minimum expereince with clinical supervision

    Pay: $105,000 - $130,000

    Schedule: FT
