12 hour shifts Days/Nights:
*7:00 pm -7:00 am or 7:00 am-7:00pm**Requirements:

* *NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
* *Respiratory Therapist License issued by the State of Alabama** *Current Basic Life Support (BLS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification

*About the Job:

• Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
• Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
• Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.
• Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.
• Initiates, monitors and manages patient's oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
• Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
