Job summary
This position is responsible for the assignment of patients' beds to facilitate moving patients who require a hospital stay to the floor from other departments such as the Emergency Department, PACU, etc.Responsibilities
- Assigns patients being admitted to any MyMichigan Health medical center utilizing Bed Planning policy as a guide and following physician orders.
- Completes necessary processes in electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure patient transfer to unit is completed accurately in system.
