    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Promote the secure and dependable transportation of students and passengers by offering guidance, support, and supervision to Supervisors at current and potential new Operations in the Eastern Region.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    Corporate / Regional Support and Supervision

    • Directing Supervision at Assigned School Bus (and Transit) Offices
    • Acting as a District Contact for Quality Control & Special Requests
    • Fostering Employer / Employee Relationships
    • Enhancing Communication between Local and Corporate Offices
    • Ensuring Local Staff Compliance with Corporate Procedures
    • Providing Coverage for Supervisor Leaves of Absence
    • Conducting Safety & Compliance Assessments
    • Developing Policies & Procedures

    Conversion Projects

    • Coordinating Projects & On-site Activities for New Offices / Locations within and outside the regional service area
    • Offering Human Resources Assistance
    • Providing Customer Support

    Corporate Representation

    • Participating in Pre-bid Meetings / Bid Openings
    • Attending Trade Shows & Conferences
    • Engaging in Special Events

    Customer Relations

    • Monitoring Quality Control / Following up with Customers
    • Reviewing Incidents
    • Attending Meetings

    Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

    Position Requirements

    SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

    • Fulfilling all general employment qualifications
    • Meeting all requirements for School Bus Drivers
    • Successfully completing the interview process
    • Holding a High School diploma or equivalent
    • Experience in the school bus sector is a must
    • Prior experience in management is desirable
    • Meeting Michigan School Bus Supervisory Continuing Education Requirements
    • Ability to travel regularly to operation centers, mainly within the regional service area
    • Passing Drug/Alcohol screenings as per company guidelines

    SPECIFIC ABILITIES

    • Demonstrating knowledge of regulations set forth by local, state, and federal authorities
    • Understanding state laws and local regulations
    • Possessing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with personnel and clients
    • Utilizing strong problem-solving skills in daily tasks
    • Applying detail-oriented and organizational approaches to all responsibilities
    • Demonstrating proficiency in general office software like email, word processing, and spreadsheets
