Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.
We are currently seeking a Production Control Manager for our Marion, AR location.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to the Production Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders to ensure focus effective utilization of resources.
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper distribution of manpower and ensure daily targets regarding safety, quality, productivity and cost are met
Maintain open line of communication with Senior Supervisor to keep them apprised of significant activities and performance within department
Promote and enforce safety throughout production lines and plant
Ensure company handbook policies are properly and fairly applied to Production Team Members
Generate work instructions and train/evaluate team in standardized work
Implement Kaizen ideas for safety, quality, productivity, and cost
Create effective countermeasure implementation and documentation submittal (PSG, PAF and NCR)
Responsible for Production Manpower Management
Report daily in PMR any line issues and counter measures
Ensure all line control documents are completed as required
Approve and manage all team member's time within their appropriated lines
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred. High School Diploma
5+ years of solid supervisory or management experience in an automotive manufacturing environment to include new model launch
Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Kaizen
5+ years of Welding, Machining, and Assembly
Knowledge and experience with 5S, and Safety
Strong Microsoft Office skills - primarily Excel
Skills Required:
Ability to manage manpower within production line
Adept at creating and maintaining positive customer relationships
Display initiative for improvement and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Advanced problem-solving ability
Capable of maintaining high confidentiality
Highly organized with solid time management skills
