    *Summary:

    Provide clinical support to patients in the physician practice under the supervision of the physician. Provides continuity and appropriate care to patients.

    *Essential Functions:

    • Ability to operate or learn to operate the following equipment: Pulse Ox, Ear Syringe, Cryosurgery Instruments, EKG machine, Nebulizer, Portable O2 tank. Knowledge and skills to provide age appropriate care to patients.
    • Ability to administer or learn to administer vaccines and injectable medications.
    • Proficient with Electronic Health Records.
    • Phlebotomy skill requested
    • Ability to operate basic lab equipment, perform and document results
    • Obtain prior authorization of medications, testing and procedures
    • Knowledge of current vaccine schedule designated by CDC

    *Required Education*:

    High School Diploma or GED is required

    *Required Certification:

    Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant

    Must have current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS_within 30 days of hire_

    Experience working in a family care or internal medicine practice, Preferred
