    Position Overview:


    We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.

    Reporting to the Director of Operations, the ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of process engineering, visual factory implementation, and production planning.

    Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Production Scheduling:
    Optimize production schedules to meet deadlines and output targets efficiently, ensuring resource utilization.

    Quality Control:
    Implement stringent quality measures, drive continuous improvement, and exceed product standards.

    Safety Compliance:
    Promote and enforce safety protocols, reducing workplace accidents and fostering a safe environment.

    Cost Management:
    Monitor production costs, seek cost reduction opportunities while maintaining quality.

    Inventory Management:
    Ensure accurate inventory levels, minimize waste, and ensure material availability.

    Process Improvement:
    Evaluate and enhance production processes for efficiency and product quality.

    Team Leadership:
    Motivate and manage production teams, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.

    Communication:
    Maintain clear communication within teams and with external stakeholders for smooth operations.

    Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure production activities comply with industry regulations and standards.

    Productivity Metrics:
    Achieve productivity goals through effective management of resources and workforce.

    Customer Satisfaction:
    Deliver products meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
    Extensive experience in process engineering, visual factory implementation, lean manufacturing, and production planning.
    Track record in managing job shop and batch production environments, familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
    Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    Solid understanding of lean principles adaptable to high mix, low volume manufacturing.
    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work across all organizational levels.

    Preferred Skills:
    Experience in balancing job shop and batch production with lean principles.
    Proficiency in visual factory implementation and production planning.
    Proactive approach to process improvement and cost management.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
    Cycle times (% improvement).
    Takt time (% meeting client deadlines).
    Manufacturing costs per unit (% reduction).
    Throughput (% improvement).
