Wastewater/Stormwater/Water Distribution Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer with experience successfully delivering a broad range of water projects. Responsibilities will include the design and analysis of wastewater, stormwater, and water distribution projects. In this role you will contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Location

This position will have a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will work from any of our Kansas/Missouri offices. This includes Kansas City, KS, Topeka, KS, Wichita, KS, Manhattan, KS, Lenexa, KS, or Kansas City, MO.
The Impact You Will Have

Assist with plan production related to wastewater, stormwater, and water distribution projects including quantities and specifications
Contribute to project goals and milestones and monitor project progress
Ensure the development of high-quality engineering documents
Adhere to all internal procedures for quality control, documentation, and project tracking

What You Will Need

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
0-6 years of related experience
PE License preferred
Proficient basic knowledge of the principals of one or more of the following: sanitary and/or storm sewer collection and distribution systems, treatment systems, MS-4 compliance, or hydrologic and hydraulics modeling (preferred)
Ability to develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to prioritize, work on, and advance multiple projects simultaneously
Understanding of state, regional, and special district design standards
A desire to learn and strengthen skills
