    The incumbent is a member of the plant leadership team and will be assigned additional responsibilities in other functional areas as required to deliver the plant's annual operating plan.

    WHAT YOU GET TO DOFacilitate deployment and integrate Daily Lean Management into the culture of the plantIdentify the highest value cost savings projects and coordinate the various project teams assigned to ensure proper resourcing to drive completion of projectsDe recognized as a leader and problem solver in the plant by providing leadership and expertise that will solve problems and improve performanceMotivate, coach, and instil good leadership skills in engineers, supervisors, and hourly co-workers.

    Establish a strong presence on the floor to set and communicate expectations, standards, and evaluate results clearlyInitiate and lead co-worker training to further instil the continuous improvement skill set in the organization.

    Develop new processes and programs as needed to address gapsLead major projects as necessary to improve plant resultsBe able to extract useful data from a variety of systems to use as tool to identify improvement opportunitiesCoordinate the work necessary to improve our overall continuous improvement results as measured by regularly scheduled auditsAssist in generating reporting tools and progress reporting for the plantDevelop and utilize communication process to present the status and implementation of plant improvement projectsLead project selection process and drive policy deployment so that all co-workers have a clear understanding of goals and objectives for a successful yearDrive change and overcome obstaclesDemonstrate and foster Amcor Core Values and actively contribute to a high-performance cultureDemonstrate ability to absorb new technologies and management techniquesUtilize an approachable and participative style of motivating co-workers to achieve higher standards and performance levelsCritical to onboarding new equipment and new business while meeting timelinesLead training initiatives for Madison's expansion projectDevelop and maintain a progressive skills programMaintain and improve cross-training and Train-the
