    Job Description

    Let's keep things tidy and in order! We need someone to help maintain the cleanliness of our offices, buildings, and plant facilities. You'll be sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as taking care of trash removal and furniture cleaning. Additionally, you'll be handling minor maintenance tasks.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Sweep, mop, and polish floors; vacuum and spot-clean carpets.
    • Clean fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, restrooms, etc.
    • Stock restroom supplies as needed.
    • Handle minor maintenance repairs.

    Accountabilities

    • Inform Supervisor about necessary repairs; submit supply order sheets.
    • Adhere to company policies and stay updated.
    • Prioritize safety by following all regulations.
    • Align with corporate goals, mission, and vision.
    • Contribute at least one Continuous Improvement idea per quarter.

    Required Education and Skills

    • Prior industrial janitorial experience with cleaning machines is preferred.
    • Meet quality standards.
    • Share ideas for organizational improvement.
    • Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
    • Demonstrate non-violent behavior.
    • Apply clear independent thinking.
    • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
    • Adhere to current environmental standards.
    • Participate in annual training to enhance job-related skills.

    Physical Demands

    • Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
    • Lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
    • Occasionally exert 50 to 100 pounds of force.
    • Occasionally exert 25 to 50 pounds of force.
    • Constantly exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects.

    Visual/Hearing

    • Meet near acuity standards as required for reading gauges.
    • Ability to monitor machine sounds for identifying and diagnosing changes.

    Working Conditions

    • Experience high noise levels from operating machines.
    • Facing physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
    • Exposure to fumes, dust, mist, oils, and cutting fluids.
    • Endure heat during summer months.
    • Follow additional instructions and perform extra duties as needed.
