Position Summary

Prairie State College seeks experienced adjunct faculty to teach HVCR courses immediately.
Responsible for promoting and nurturing the education of students by planning courses of study according to curriculum guidelines and objectives; monitors, assists with, and corrects academic efforts; provides a safe environment conducive to learning.

Instructing students in the theory, application and trouble shooting of heating and air conditioning systems and demonstrates competency in heating and air conditioning.

Is knowledgeable of and adheres to all Prairie State College educational policies and procedures. Maintains student records and participates in curriculum development and revision.

Successful candidate will have flexible schedule for teaching assignments. 

EOE/Drug Free Work Place Reporting Relationship Essential Responsibilities Other Duties and Responsibilities Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Minimum Qualifications Minimum of three years' experience in the field of heating and air conditioning required.

Current Universal 608 EPA License

Demonstrated experience and proficiency with installation and repair on all types of residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating systems.

Motivation, dedication, professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for teaching. Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching and training experience preferred
